Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the second-generation 2025 Hyundai Venue, a significant overhaul of its popular compact SUV, with introductory ex-showroom prices beginning at ₹7.90 lakh. This new model represents a complete generational change, succeeding the first-generation Venue that was introduced in 2019.
The initial pricing, which applies to customer deliveries until December 31, 2025, covers the HX2, HX4, and HX5 trims, all powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa MPi petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Pricing for the more performance-oriented 2025 Hyundai Venue N Line will be disclosed at a later date.
Updated Design and Exterior Styling
The 2025 Venue features a more modern and assertive aesthetic, aligning it with Hyundai’s global design identity. The exterior is marked by a redesigned front grille, new LED lighting signatures, and a revised bumper. The vehicle’s stance is improved with sleeker body lines and the availability of larger alloy wheel options. Customers will have a choice of six monotone and two dual-tone exterior colors.
Premium Interiors and Advanced Technology
Inside, the new Venue boasts a streamlined dashboard and higher-quality materials. Mid and top-tier variants are expected to feature a cutting-edge cockpit setup with dual 12.3-inch displays for both the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster.
The compact SUV is packed with modern convenience features, including wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, multiple USB ports, and practical additions like heated seats, ambient lighting, and potentially a panoramic sunroof.
Enhanced Safety and Engine Specifications
Safety has been a key focus, with higher trim levels anticipated to offer advanced features such as six airbags as standard and the integration of a Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite.
The 2025 Venue maintains Hyundai’s proven engine line-up, which is expected to include:
- 1.2-litre Kappa MPi Petrol: Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox (for entry models).
- 1.0-litre Turbo-Petrol: Available with both manual and DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) options.
- 1.5-litre Diesel: This engine may offer an automatic gearbox for the first time in the Venue lineup.
Variants and Market Positioning
Hyundai is switching to a new naming convention for the trim levels, expected to range from the entry-level HX2 up to the fully-loaded HX10. The anticipated ex-showroom price range for the full model lineup is between ₹8 lakh and ₹13 lakh.
By integrating a premium blend of advanced technology, comfort, and refreshed styling, the 2025 Venue is positioned to aggressively compete against established rivals in the compact SUV segment, including the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
