TIRUN Travel Marketing, a leading cruise specialist and the exclusive representative for Royal Caribbean Group brands in India, has formed a strategic alliance with Air India to introduce a new offering: Fly-Cruise Holidays. This initiative marks a significant step toward simplifying international cruise vacations for the Indian market.
A Seamless “Door-to-Deck” Experience
The core of this collaboration is the creation of a single, unified travel package that integrates both air travel and the cruise itinerary. For Indian travelers, this means they can now book a seamless journey that includes:
- A domestic flight from their home city.
- The international connection via Air India or Air India Express.
- The selected global cruise itinerary.
This integrated approach aims to remove the logistical complexities traditionally associated with booking international cruise holidays, providing a smooth, “door-to-deck” travel experience from start to finish.
Initial and Future Destinations
The Fly-Cruise program, which launched in November, initially focuses on major international cruise embarkation ports such as Singapore and Hong Kong.
Looking ahead, the partnership plans to expand its reach, with future phases targeting popular cruise destinations in Sydney, Los Angeles, and various locations across Europe.
Benefits for the Travel Industry
Beyond the consumer, this partnership also benefits India’s travel trade ecosystem. Tour operators and travel agents can now easily offer pre-packaged, air-inclusive cruise holidays. This expanded accessibility is expected to foster the growth of outbound leisure travel and meet the rising demand for curated, all-inclusive vacations that blend connectivity and leisure.
According to Varun Chadha, CEO of TIRUN Travel Marketing, the program successfully bridges the gap between the traveler’s doorstep and the ship’s deck, simplifying the overall travel planning process. This partnership leverages Air India’s extensive flight network and TIRUN’s cruise expertise to enhance accessibility to global cruise destinations.
