OnePlus appears to be preparing for a significant international announcement, as the company has begun teasing a new wearable device, currently dubbed the “OnePlus New Watch,” on its official European Union and United Kingdom websites.
The teaser for this new smartwatch is subtly placed alongside early promotions for the upcoming OnePlus 15R smartphone, indicating that multiple product unveilings are planned for the same global platform.
What We Know About the New Watch
The release of the “New Watch” comes earlier than expected, preceding the anticipated launch cycle of the next major generation, the OnePlus Watch 4 (forecasted for early 2026).
Visuals suggest the wearable features a circular display, a dedicated prominent crown, and a sharp, angular case design. These elements have led to speculation that the device may be a rebranded or modified version of the recently released Oppo Watch S, which is known for its slender 8.9-mm profile and 1.46-inch AMOLED display. Analysts believe the new OnePlus model could be a lighter version of the existing Watch 3, prioritizing comfort and style.
The Oppo Watch S, which launched in China in October, notably offered up to 10 days of battery life, a feature that could potentially be carried over to this new global OnePlus offering.
Launch Timeline Hinted by Promotions
The exact launch date has not been officially confirmed, but a timing clue was revealed through a “subscribe to save” campaign. This promotion, running from November 17 until December 17, offers subscribers a discount voucher. Since this voucher becomes usable starting December 17, industry observers believe this date marks the likely worldwide launch event.
OnePlus 15R Sneak Peek
The accompanying handset, the OnePlus 15R, was also given a sneak peek. This device is confirmed for an imminent launch in India and will be available in black and green color options. The 15R is anticipated to be a localized, customized variant of the OnePlus Ace 6T.
