Norton Motorcycles Unveils New Era with Four Models at EICMA 2025

The iconic British brand, Norton Motorcycles, officially marked its global resurgence at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, presenting four completely new motorcycle models that signal a new chapter under the ownership of India’s TVS Motor Company. This launch is the culmination of five years of transformation and over £200 million in investment from TVS, aimed at blending Norton’s classic British craftsmanship with world-class quality and modern engineering.

The New Lineup: Manx and Atlas Platforms

The four bikes unveiled are built across two new platforms: the high-performance Manx family and the versatile Atlas adventure range.

Flagship Performance: The Manx and Manx R

Spearheading the new era is the Manx R superbike, positioned as the brand’s new flagship and successor to the V4SV. It features a sharp, contemporary design and is powered by a new 72-degree, 1,200cc V4 liquid-cooled engine. This motor is tuned to deliver an impressive output of approximately 206 horsepower and is paired with a comprehensive electronics package built around a Bosch platform, including semi-active Marzocchi suspension, Brembo HYPURE braking components, and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen display. The bike boasts a near 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, emphasizing muscular, real-world usability over just peak track performance.

The Manx is the street-naked version of its fully-faired sibling, sharing the same chassis, powerful V4 engine, and sophisticated electronics suite, but with an upright riding position and distinctive styling tailored for road use.

Middleweight Adventure: The Atlas and Atlas GT

Expanding Norton’s reach into the growing adventure segment are the Atlas and Atlas GT. These middleweight bikes are based on a new platform utilizing a 585cc parallel-twin engine and a lightweight steel trellis frame.

  • Norton Atlas: Positioned as the genuine adventure model, featuring a 19/17-inch wheel setup (wire-spoke) and longer travel suspension, built for off-road capability.
  • Norton Atlas GT: This is the road-focused variant, distinguished by 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and shorter suspension travel, optimizing it for touring and tarmac performance.

Both Atlas models feature keyless ignition, an 8-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes (including Off-Road), and a suite of rider aids like traction control and hill start assist.

Manufacturing and Global Vision

Norton’s resurgence is anchored by its state-of-the-art global headquarters and manufacturing facility in Solihull, UK, which handles design, R&D, and production. With TVS’s backing, the company is dramatically expanding its capacity and preparing for a global sales push.

Norton Motorcycles plans to establish a network of over 200 retail points across key global markets, including the UK, Europe, the USA, and India. The new models are expected to begin commercial distribution in early 2026. The company’s focus is on creating desirable, high-quality motorcycles that honor its heritage while defining a bold, modern identity for the future.
